Home to Mars Pennsylvania

Last minute chores this morning – change sheets, last load of laundry, cut power, cut water, cancel Comcast, swear at the postal service that was supposed to discontinue mail today but didn’t, lock up and hit the road.

Wow what beautiful scenery along the way. The trees are all turning yellow, orange, red and brown colors. It’s dismal looking out but if the sun would come out to play it would look spectacular. Saw some deer along the turnpike. They seem to have smaller deer in PA than we have in MI. I watched one we passed try to figure out how to get over a roadside fence and back into the forest. Hope it makes it – it’s a pretty though little creature. We drove to Mars and decided to call it a night at the Comfort Inn. Guess you could say “I finally made it to Mars”…
